CERTIFICATE IN PROFESSIONAL SELLING

Welcome to the University of Texas at Arlington - Professional Selling Program Web page.  We hope you find the information on the site useful. We have exciting things for students to get hands on experience such as the Sales Club and Sales Competition.

Facts: Average student placement in 2013 for students participating in a university sales program was 91% with 652,000 additional jobs in sales projected by 2020 (Department of Labor)

 

To qualify for the Sales Certificate, 18 credit hours required for business majors, comprised of several classes already included in degree plan. The Sales Certificate is Open to Non-Business Majors too.

If you do not think you are interested in a career in sales, we encourage you to consider taking MARK 3322, our Professional Selling class.   In this class you will learn about known and effective selling techniques that will provide you with the ability to make informative, persuasive, and ethical presentations in such venues as work meetings, PTA meetings, community meetings, church meetings, and student organization meetings to name a few.
