Institute of Internal Auditors Fort Worth Chapter Scholarship

 

Purpose

The Institute of Internal Auditors Fort Worth Chapter wants to encourage students in the UTA accounting program to pursue a degree in Accounting. The scholarship is established to provide financial support for an outstanding accounting student at the University of Texas at Arlington

 

About Institute of Internal Auditors

Established in 1941, the IIA is an international professional association of more than 100,000 members with global headquarters in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Throughout the world, the IIA is recognized as the internal audit profession´┐Żs leader in certification, education, research, and technological guidance.

 

Criteria:

(1) Have an accounting and overall UTA GPA of at least 3.0;

(2) Be an accounting major;

(3) Have completed at least 12 semester hours of accounting (9 semester hours for graduate students) prior to the date of application;

(4) Have at least one full-time semester remaining for degree completion after the semester of application.
