American Association of University Women/Arlington The American Association of University Women, Arlington branch, provides support for one, two, or three UTA upper division female students, preferably mature women or displaced homemakers returning to school. Part-time students are eligible to apply and recipients may apply to renew the scholarship. Financial need is a consideration. Texas residence and U.S. citizenship (or permanent residence) are required.

Associate Recognition Scholarship In partnership with the Dallas County Community College District, Tarrant County College, Collin County Community College District, McLennan Community College, El Paso Community College, and South Texas Community College, the Associate Recognition Scholarship recognizes students who have earned associate degrees at DCCCD, TCC, MCC, CCCCD, EPCC, or STCC while maintaining a 3.0 GPA.

Vikram J. Bajaj Memorial Scholarship This scholarship is open to students of Asian Indian origin who are pursuing studies in Engineering and/or Science.

Michele Bobadilla Bridge to Excellence Scholarship Established to honor the community outreach and partnership efforts of Michele Bobadilla, the Bridge to Excellence Scholarship encourages deserving students to bridge the gap between dreams and reality through education. First generation entering freshmen (graduate of a DISD high school in the top 25% of the graduating class, with a minimum test score of 1000 SAT/22 ACT) may apply.

Centennial Scholarship Jointly sponsored by the UTA Alumni Association and the Student Affairs Division, this scholarship provides support for deserving and academically promising first-generation college students who are entering freshmen or new transfers to UTA. Freshmen must have minimums of 900 SAT/19 ACT or ranking in the top 25% of the graduating high school class. Transfer students are required to have an overall GPA of 3.0 on a minimum of 24 hours. Demonstrated community service is also a factor in awarding this $1,000 per year scholarship. Renewals require a minimum UTA GPA of 2.75 on 24 hours completed during the fall and spring semesters.

Creel Endowed Scholarship A scholarship for currently enrolled first-generation UT Arlington students who are not already receiving a general UT Arlington scholarship and who have completed a minimum of 24 UTA hours with a minimum cumulative UTA GPA of 3.0. Preference will be given for fluency in the Spanish language and for completion of all or majority of primary education in a Latin American country.

Alex Daniel Goolsby Scholarship Graduates of Bowie High School who rank in the top 30% of the graduating class may apply. The scholarship celebrates Alex's passion for learning by providing educational opportunities to exceptional Bowie High students. Applications are available at Bowie High School.

Hall-Stephenson Endowed Scholarship UT Arlington students who are Texas residents and have a minimum cumulative UTA GPA of 2.80 may apply. Financial aid will be a consideration. Preference will be given to employees and spouses or children of employees of Hall Albert Construction L.P. and Orval Hall Excavating LTD.

Franklin L. Hodge Memorial Scholarship Graduates from a Navarro County high school are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Factors considered in the selection of a Franklin L. Hodge Scholar are a "B" or better grade point average (high school or college) and demonstrated financial need.

MAVS with class!/MAVS con clase! Scholarship This scholarship is a one-time $3,000 annual award that recognizes academic achievement, community engagement, and a trajectory toward graduation. Four qualifying freshmen will be selected to receive the award during the sophomore year.

North Texas Agricultural College Scholarship The North Texas Agricultural College (NTAC) Scholarship was established through gifts and donations from alumni of NTAC, a predecessor of The University of Texas at Arlington. The scholarship rewards undergraduates whose activities and accomplishments demonstrate potential for directing worthy enterprises following graduation. Eligibility to apply requires a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a minimum of 24 UTA semester hours. In addition, applicants must have demonstrated leadership performance for three years prior to application and an evidenced commitment to completing the bachelor’s degree.

President's Outreach Scholarship The President’s Outreach Scholarship recognizes high achieving entering freshmen who have graduated from a public high school in Texas in the top 20% (preferred) or top 25% (considered) of the graduating class. A rigorous academic program of study such as IB designation or AP and/or Honors coursework will also be required. This $2,000 scholarship award may be renewed for up to four years of undergraduate study.

Rising Star Scholarship This scholarship recognizes the accomplishments of the Rising Star Scholars and supports the program's commitment to the completion of an advanced degree. A minimum transfer GPA of 3.0 on at least 24 hours is required to be considered for this $1,000 award. The scholarship is renewable and may be prorated for half-time or three-quarter-time enrollment.

UT Arlington Academic Achievement Scholarship for Continuing Students Currently enrolled UTA students who are not already receiving a general UTA academic scholarship will be reviewed for scholarship eligibility once a year. Scholarship candidates are identified every spring after spring grades are posted. Students who have completed a minimum of 24 UTA hours with a cumulative UTA GPA of 3.75 will be invited to apply via the official UTA email address. The actual cut-off GPA, the amount of the award, and the number of scholarships awarded will be contingent upon the number of qualified applicants and available funding. C,U
