Welcome
The UTA Office of Financial Aid website is designed to provide you with useful information
about financial aid programs offered through UTA and the process to apply for and
receive funding. We offer a wide variety of scholarships, grants, work, and loan
programs to assist with funding the college education of students and families of
all income levels. More than 63% of UTA students receive some type of financial
assistance. We look forward to assisting you with the financial aid process.
Scholarship opportunities from sources outside of UT Arlington are located in the
Private Scholarships page on this web site.
Requirements and Deadlines
To be considered for maximum grant funding, students must be admitted to UT Arlington
and the completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and any additional
required documents must be received in the Financial Aid Office by the dates below.
Because additional documents may be required (see Verification), students should
complete and submit the FAFSA at least 2 weeks prior to the deadline. Financial
aid awards cannot be made until all required documents have been received. Due to
the uncertainty of available funding through federal and state grant programs, grant
award amounts may be reduced from previous years. The most advantageous grant awards
will be made to eligible students who have been admitted to UT Arlington and have
submitted all required financial aid paperwork by April 2, 2012.
2012 - 2013 Deadlines

- Fall/Spring 2012-2013 Grant Priority Deadline: April 2, 2012
- Spring 2013 Deadline: Nov. 1, 2012
