Dr. Elten Briggs
Dr. Elten Briggs received his Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma. His primary research interests are in the areas of services marketing, especially business-to-business services and volunteerism, and minority advertising/marketing. His research has been published in a variety of outlets, including the Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Advertising, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Macromarketing, Journal of Nonprofit and Public Sector Marketing, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, Journal of Services Marketing, and Journal of Service Research. He has presented his research at several conferences, previously winning “Best Paper” and “Best Track Paper” awards at the Society of Marketing Advances Annual Conference and the American Marketing Association Summer Conference. He is also a member of the editorial review board for the Service Industries Journal.
At the University of Texas at Arlington, Dr. Briggs is presently serving as the department coordinator for MARK 3321 (Principles of Marketing) and the faculty advisor for AMA@UTA, the collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association.
