Master of Science in Human Resource Management

 

The purpose of the Master of Science in HRM is to prepare students for advanced careers in Human Resource Management. By offering courses with focus and depth in areas of human resources management, students gain knowledge and an understanding of the various concepts and applications within the field. Some of the content areas are strategic human resources management, employee selection, compensation and rewards, training and development, career planning and development, employee relations law, conflict management, HR information systems, HR strategy and policy, HR planning and forecasting, and HR consulting. With expansion of the scope and importance of the human resource role in organizations, the need for advanced education and professionalism grows. The UTA Master of Science in HRM is designed to prepare students to meet the increasing demand for human resources generalists, HR executives, and for specialist positions in the field.
