Jonghyun Yun is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at UT Arlington. He completed his PhD in the Department of Statistics at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign under the guidance of Dr. Yuguo Chen. Prior to joining UTA, he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences and a core faculty in the Border Biomedical Research Center at the University of Texas at El Paso, from 2015 to 2016.

  • Applications: next-generation sequencing data; statistical genomics; optimal drug selection; RNAi screens; RNA-regulation; CLIP-seq; high-dimensional tomography problems; target tracking.
