We must prevent teenagers who do not want to be parents from becoming parents
Teenage fathers bear as much responsibility for their child as do teenage mothers
Teenage fathers and mothers should be treated equally by society and service agencies
Our society and institutions (schools, social service agencies, etc.) currently discriminate by putting the majority of responsibility for a child born to teenagers on the mother.
Schools should devote equal resources to programs to helping teenage fathers become responsible fathers as they devote to helping teenage girls become mothers.
