The Cognitive Neuroscience of Memory Laboratory
How do we recognize the events that we recently encountered? The ability to remember the past is vital for human cognition and behavior. Our lab focuses on topics broadly directed at human memory and cognition. We use neuroscientific methods (e.g. fMRI, EEG/ERP, tDCS, & fNIRS) to test accounts of memory and cognition. We also engage in theoretical modeling of behavioral data on memory. Recently we extend our study to examine age-related neural differences in memory, assciative memory processing in individuals with neurological disorders, and health-related memory issues.
