The “Representations and Geometry” Seminar at UTA will start in Spring 2012. The focus of the seminar is to study modules (representations) of algebras from the viewpoint of algebraic geometry, and explore relations between the two topics. Graduate students are encouraged to attend and present talks on any of the two topics. The seminar is a part of the UTA research program Noncommutative Algebraic Geometry, Representation Theory and their Interactions

All meetings are in PKH 302 unless otherwise stated. The tentative schedule of the seminar is as follows:

1st meeting: Friday, February 3, at 2 pm

2nd meeting: Friday, February 17, at 2:30 pm

3rd meeting: Friday, February 24, at 2:00 pm

4th meeting: Friday, March 23, at 2:00 pm
