Dr. Greg Frazier

Professor of Operations Management Interim Chair, Information Systems and Operations Management Department Dr. Frazier received a Ph.D. in Production and Operations Management, an MBA, and a BS in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management (CFPIM). Dr. Frazier served as Director of Ph.D. Programs in Business for five years and prior to that as Director of MBA Programs for two years. In addition to UTA, Dr. Frazier has taught at Texas A&M University, the University of Oregon, and Harvard University Summer School. He has also been a Faculty Fellow at The Boeing Company and has consulted for American Eagle Airlines. Dr Frazier teaches courses in operations management, project management, and management science. His current research interests are in the areas of operations control and supply chain management. Dr. Frazier's research is published in Journal of Operations Management, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, International Journal of Production Research, IIE Transactions, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, Journal of Productivity Analysis, Production and Inventory Management Journal, Supply Chain Management, Quality Management Journal, Industrial Management & Data Systems, and Business Horizons, among others. He is also coauthor of the textbook Operations Management, 9th edition, Norman Gaither and Greg Frazier (South-Western College Publishing).
