About BSSC
Understanding the sciences is an overview and hands on experience with several different disciplines in the field of biology. The course will expose students to microbiology, molecular biology, anatomy and physiology, forensic science, and more.
Scope
The BSSC is designed for students who will be in the 7th, 8th, or 9th grades in the Fall 2014. This camp is about understanding the sciences; it entails an overview and hands on experience with several different disciplines in the field of biology. The curriculum will expose students to microbiology, anatomy and physiology, forensic science, and more.  The curriculum is designed to promote a higher and deeper interest in the sciences at an early age.
Subjects of study:
  • Anatomy and Physiology
  • Microbiology
  • Molecular Biology
  • Forensics Science

  • This camp is for students who will be entering the 7th, 8th, or 9th grades in the Fall of 2014.
  • Time: 7:30 am – 12:00 noon
  • Fee: The program fee is $400.00 which covers a participant's insurance, project materials and activities.
