Abstract and Poster Submission Form

Poster Instructions:

• If you have not done so, please register to attend the event before you submit your poster.  Submitting a poster does not register you or poster co-authors  to attend the event.

• Posters will be displayed on shared 8 x 4 ft. poster boards. Posters should have a maximum width of 46 inches (116.88 cm).

• Posters should be set up between 8:30 AM and no later than 9:00 AM on Friday Febuary 03, 2012. We ask that they remain up until 3:45 PM when awards are presented, but should be removed by 4:30 PM at the latest.

Abstract:

• No more than 300 words (or no more than 2,100 characters), exclusive of title and authors

• Include three sections:

  1. Introduction
  2. Aims and Methods
  3. Results and Conclusions

Review and Awards:

• Posters will be reviewed by a panel from the three sponsoring universities.

• Three graduate students/fellows will be chosen to present a 12-minute talk on their work.

•  The top 3 posters (1 frome each Institution) will be presented (winners will also receive $250)

• Of the remaining posters, the next top 3 (regardless of Institution) will receive $150 prizes

Deadlines for Abstract Submission and Registration

• Poster presentation: To be considered for a poster award, registration and the abstract must be submitted by January 30, 2012.
