•    Business Freshman Interest Groups
Business Freshman Interest Groups (FIGs) are designed for pre-business majors with a focus on problem-solving skills in a business environment. The primary goal of a FIG is to provide an integrated learning experience for freshmen by connecting faculty, students, disciplines and campus experiences in a meaningful fashion. Participation in FIGs also improves the college transition process and enhances academic and social success. Students involved in a FIG enroll in common courses, take part in special group activities and programming, interact with business executives, the FIG Faculty Mentor, and the FIG peer counselor.
The two Business FIG groups are the Residential Maverick Scholars who live in Kalpana Chawla Residence Hall (KC Hall) and the Classic Maverick Scholars.
