      How to Succeed in the College of Business Workshops

These workshops are offered to all new business students, but are particularly helpful to business students in their first semester at UT Arlington. The workshops focus on important policies, procedures, and support services available at the University.
 
Topics to be addressed in the workshop are;
 
  • How to be Accepted into a Business Major,
  • The Grade Exclusion Policy,
  • Credit-Earning Internship Option,
  • Prerequisite Flow Charts,
  • Graduation Requirements, and
  • Important University and College Rules and Regulations.
Please make your reservation to attend a 1 hour and 15 minute workshop in the Business Building, Room 609, in one of the following ways:
 
  • By emailing ugadvise@uta.edu,
  • By calling 817.272.3368, or
  • By speaking with the receptionist in our Advising Center, Business Building Suite 107.
The workshops will be offered at the following times:

•    Schedule is subject to change.
•    Direct admit students must attend to declare a business major.
•    The Business Student Handbook will be distributed.
•    Seating is limited in each session. Make your reservation early.
