New Student Orientation

The College of Business is committed to ensuring the success of each incoming student. Each entering student is required to attend a comprehensive New Student Orientation. The orientation provides you an opportunity to meet other new entering students and learn of important events essential to first semester success. At this 3-hour required event, we introduce you to electronic databases and search engines in the library, determine course waivers, construct your initial degree plan, outline graduate school policy, and introduce you to our MyMav system. The orientation concludes with one-on-one advising, providing students with a helpful understanding of degree requirements and first semester events. Please complete the Student Data Sheet before you come to the orientation. Also, prior to attending our Graduate Business Programs Orientation, please review the Graduate School's New Student Orientation Guide.
