New Graduate Student Orientation
The College of Business is committed to ensuring the success of each incoming student. Each entering student is required to attend a comprehensive New Student Orientation. The orientation provides the student an opportunity to meet other new entering students and learn of important events essential to first semester success. At this 3-hour required event, we introduce the student to electronic databases and search engines in the library, determine course waivers, construct each student's initial degree plan, outline graduate school policy, and introduce the student to our MyMav system. The orientation concludes with one-on-one advising, providing students with a helpful understanding of degree requirements and first semester events.

** All international students required to take the Graduate English Skills Program (GESP) proficiency exam should attend this session and complete the English test prior to attending this orientation. Call 817-272-7576 or email: email@example.com to reserve a seat for the English proficiency test or determine a makeup testing date.
All International Students must attend the International Student Orientation in addition to the New Student Orientation prior to being released for registration.
There are a limited number of seats available at each orientation. Reservations are required. The student can make a reservation for New Student Orientation by providing the following information:

- Student Identification Number (MavID)
- Daytime Phone Number
- The date you wish to attend
- Program admitted to
