GRE or GMAT Concerns?
Some people may be exempted from taking GRE or GMAT, as discussed here.
If you take the GRE or GMAT, there is no "cutoff" score. The score is taken into account with other admissions criteria, as described here.
A weak GRE or GMAT score can be compensated for in other ways, such as by having high undergraduate GPA.
One good strategy for confronting the GRE/GMAT is to register for the test, giving yourself one or two months until the test date. Use that time to prepare. For example, you can get a GRE/GMAT preparation book and work through sample problems. By registering first, you have set a concrete target; by giving yourself a month or two to prepare, you have allocated enough time to meet that target, even if things come up along the way.
