How to apply for admission to the master's program

The following are the typical steps in the admission process:

1. Complete an application for admission form
Individuals seeking admission to the MPA, MS-Accounting, or MS-Taxation degree programs should complete an application for admission form. This application form can be: (1) accessed and completed online at the Graduate Admissions Center, or (2) requested from the Graduate Admissions Center for manual completion and submission via mail, or (3) obtained from the University's Graduate Admission Office in Davis Hall (room 333) or Graduate Studies office on the first floor of the College of Business (room 107) and manually completed and submitted via mail. If submitted by mail the completed application should be forwarded to the following address:

          Graduate Admissions
          P. O. Box 19167
The University of Texas at Arlington
          Arlington, Texas 76019-0167

Note 1: The application process should be completed by the deadlines published by the university. Application deadlines are published on the website for the Graduate School under the Deadlines link.

Note 2: The Graduate School classifies admitted individuals as either 'degree seeking' students or 'special' students. An individual seeking admission to a degree program should apply as a 'degree seeking' applicant (not a 'special' student applicant).

2. Pay the application evaluation fee
A non-refundable application evaluation charge is required for all U.S. citizens and resident aliens with no foreign college or university work. A non-refundable application evaluation charge is also required for all non-immigrant international applicants, U.S. Citizens and U.S. resident aliens with foreign college or university work. Payment may be made with a money order, bank-imprinted personalized check, or bank draft payable in U.S. dollars made payable to UT-Arlington. For further details please contact the Graduate School.
