UTA graduates rank #1 in Texas on new CPA exam

The Texas State Board of Public Accountancy has released an analysis of candidate success rates for the April/May 2004 testing window of the new CPA examination. This analysis shows that, among universities with at least 10 candidates writing the examination, graduates from U. T. Arlington ranked #1 on the exam in the April/May 2004 testing window.

UTA candidates posted a success rate of 32.2%. Candidates from U. T. Austin and Texas A & M posted success rates of 28.9% and 27.7%, respectively. The state average success rate was 20.6%.
