Professor Witt served at UTA for 32 years, including 25 as coordinator of the Student Internship Program. He was nominated five times for the Chancellor's Council Teaching Excellence Award and recognized as Outstanding Faculty Member by Beta Alpha Psi and the College of Business Constituency Council. Although retired, he continues to support UTA via volunteer work for the Athletics Department.
