Petroleum Accountants Society Scholarship

  • Purpose
  • The Petroleum Accountants Society of Fort Worth provided $10,000 with the direction that the earnings from the monies be awarded as scholarships to outstanding accounting majors at UTA.
  • About Petroleum Accountants Society of Fort Worth
  • The Petroleum Accountants Society of Fort Worth is comprised of degreed accountants working throughout the petroleum industry.
  • Criteria
  • To be eligible for the Petroleum Accountants Scholarship, a student must meet the following criteria:
    1. Be a declared accounting major currently enrolled in a minimum of nine semester hours at The University of Texas at Arlington;
    2. Have completed a minimum of fifteen (15) semester hours of accounting courses at The University of Texas at Arlington;
    3. Have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.0 overall in courses completed at UTA, and a minimum GPA of 3.0 in accounting courses completed at UTA, and
    4. Be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
