All scholarships administered through the UT Arlington Scholarship Office are reserved for students pursuing their first baccalaureate degrees.
Full-time enrollment (minimum of 12 UTA hours) each fall and spring semester and completion of a specified annual minimum number of UTA hours are required for the duration of the eligible scholarship period. Enrollment in only 12 UTA hours each fall and spring may not meet the specified annual minimum. Concurrent enrollment at another institution does not apply to either minimum.
Academic Partnership students and students opting to participate in the Coordinated Admission Program (CAP) are not eligible for UT Arlington’s general scholarships.
In cases of multiple eligibility, students will be awarded the scholarship with the highest value.
All scholarship awards are subject to available funding; award values may vary due to level of funding or number of eligible applicants.
Classification as a new freshman or as a transfer student for scholarship purposes is consistent with the published definition in UT Arlington's undergraduate catalog. The classification upon which a scholarship is awarded must meet catalog definitions at the time of admission and at the time of enrollment.
Graduate students should contact the appropriate academic department for Scholarship information.
